Similar to Storm Claudia swept through the northwest the prior day, Manchester City swept Manchester United away at the Etihad Stadium. It was a statement 3-0 win for their manager's side owing to goals from Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a result that clearly signaled their championship potential as they strengthened their position at the top of the table.

Consecutive Losses for United
